MD Anderson Cancer Center's Endocrine Center is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic multi-disciplinary setting. This role focuses on outpatient care, coordinating services, and applying evidence-based practice across the continuum of care.

The position requires an RN license in Texas, BLS/CPR, and ACLS/PALS where applicable, with a preference for 1 year of ambulatory experience.

Qualificações

• RN license with Texas (or compact) licensing.
• One year of clinical nurse experience preferred.
• Outpatient/ambulatory nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and implement patient care across the continuum.
• Assess nursing needs using clinical judgment and assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, other services, and families to plan and evaluate care.
• Incorporate age-specific care needs and oncology standards into care.
• Support evidence-based practice and participate in research data collection.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and manage emergencies as needed.
• Ensure discharge planning, patient education, and continuity of care.
