Job summary

Cottage Health, located on the central coast of California, seeks an Echocardiographer to perform echocardiograms and related stress exams, calculating measurements used to aid diagnosis and treatment in an outpatient setting. Minimum education requirements include graduation from an accredited cardiac sonography program with ARDMS/CCI Cardiac Sonographer certification and BLS; ACLS preferred.

The role requires knowledge of cardiac anatomy and arrhythmias and proficiency with echocardiography

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program.
• Registered by ARDMS or CCI as a Cardiac Sonographer. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Operational knowledge of echocardiography and electrocardiographic equipment; knowledge of cardiac anatomy and arrhythmias; ability to operate computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related stress exams.
• Calculate measurements used for diagnosis and treatment of patients in outpatient clinic setting.
