Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Dietitian at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Dallas, TX. You will counsel patients on chronic conditions including diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, gestational diabetes, and more, with opportunities to lead oncology nutrition demos with chefs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or related field.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Dietitian atBaylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Dallas, TX.This dietitian will work with our outpatient team to provide counseling on a variety of chronic conditions including but not limited to: general healthy eating, weight management, diabetes management, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, peri-menopause, geriatric nutrition, and gestational diabetes. There's also an opportunity to facilitate monthly oncology nutrition cooking demos with assistance from our chefs.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
