Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a PRN Consulting Dietitian at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Round Rock in Round Rock, TX. The position offers as-needed weekday and weekend coverage with rotating weekend shifts, perfect for maintaining inpatient MNT skills while serving outpatients in another setting.

Ideal candidates hold an RD or RD eligible status, with 1+ year of clinical experience, Texas licensure within 6 months, and strong leadership and communication abilities to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD eligible.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on medical history and current health status.
• Provide education and counseling on proper nutrition and healthy eating.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical nutrition protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify plans as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research in clinical nutrition.

About the Hospital: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Round Rock is a 170 bed hospital offering over 40 specialties including a freestanding cancer center. They are undergoing a major expansion this year to add additional patient beds, new NICU, new women's unit and more.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
