Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian I for Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Dallas, TX. Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.

The role develops individualized nutrition plans, educates patients and families, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement nutrition care protocols; ongoing learning and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
• Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on medical history and current health status.
• Make recommendations for nutrition supplements and enteral nutrition including placement of feeding tubes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical nutrition protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify nutrition plans as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research in clinical nutrition.

About the Hospital: Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is a nationally recognized, faith-based, not-for-profit hospital in Dallas that cares for more than 300,000 people each year. Baylor University Medical Center has 914 licensed beds and serves as the flagship hospital of Baylor Scott & White Health - North Texas. BUMC is an academic teaching hospital, Level I trauma, Level IV NICU, and boasts a large technology and research center. Our dietitians have ordering writing privileges to implement diverse nutrition interventions to support our patient's care with the interdisciplinary teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Make recommendations for nutrition supplements and enteral nutrition including placement of feeding tubes
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
