Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP1 program focused on dialysis patient care. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients under supervision, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, participate in staff training, and support quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Document care plans and updates in the patient record; adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the health care team to educate patients and families.
• Direct and support daily safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with other staff.
