Roxbury Treatment Center in Chambersburg, PA is seeking an Outpatient Counselor to support the Substance Use Disorder program. The role involves conducting assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and delivering evidence-based interventions in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings.

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of clinical experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2 years of clinical experience.
• Licensed RN with 1 year of counseling experience in health/human services.
• Certified addictions counselor.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining caseload meeting patient needs and following regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure completion of all required paperwork (psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes) accurately and timely.
• Provide evidence-based and approved counseling techniques and interventions.
• Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
• Engage non-compliant patients and coordinate outpatient and IOP treatment.

OUTPATIENT COUNSELOR - SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER IN OUR Chambersburg, PA OFFICE

Currently offering evening shift differentials, weekly productivity bonuses, and sign on bonus.

This is a Monday through Friday position with day and evening hours (2 evenings per week).

A successful candidate will be a compassionate individual whom will put their clients treatment first, efficiently priority/time manage, and effectively offer treatment at the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining caseload meeting the needs of the patients and following regulatory guidelines

• Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.

• Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients.Roxbury’s outpatient program specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders while using an integrated treatment approach for individuals with co-occurring mental health needs. We provide assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient treatment.

Education:

• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field – OR –
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field andone yearof clinical experience– OR –
