Roxbury Treatment Center in Carlisle, PA is seeking an Outpatient Counselor to support individuals with substance use disorders. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based counseling, assessments, and group/individual sessions within the outpatient and IOP framework.

The position offers day and evening hours, with differential pay and a sign-on bonus. A strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and comprehensive documentation accompanies a patient-centered, team-based treatment approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field with one year of clinical experience.
• Associate’s degree with two years of clinical experience.
• Licensed RN with one year of counseling experience in health/human services.
• Certified addictions counselor

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload meeting patient needs and follow regulations.
• Complete required paperwork (psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes) as outlined by regulation.
• Provide evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions.
• Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
• Engage non-compliant patients and support outpatient/IOP care.

OUTPATIENT COUNSELOR - SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER IN OUR CARLISLE, PA OFFICE

Currently offering evening shift differentials, weekly productivity bonuses, and sign on bonus.

This is a Monday through Friday position with day and evening hours (2 evenings per week).

A successful candidate will be a compassionate individual whom will put their clients treatment first, efficiently priority/time manage, and effectively offer treatment at the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining caseload meeting the needs of the patients and following regulatory guidelines
• Ensure completion of all required paperwork (i.e. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes etcetera) as outlined by regulation both accurately and timely.
• Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.
• Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
• Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients.Roxbury’s outpatient program specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders while using an integrated treatment approach for individuals with co-occurring mental health needs. We provide assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient treatment.
