Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Carlisle, PA is seeking an Outpatient Counselor specializing in substance use disorders. The role focuses on individual, group, and evidence-based counseling within our outpatient and IOP framework, with a patient-centered approach and strong time-management.

We offer evening shift differentials, weekly productivity bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. This position supports treatment across outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field – OR –
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and one year of clinical experience – OR –
• Associate's degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and two years of clinical experience - OR -
• Licensed RN with 1 year of counseling experience in a health/human services field – OR –
• Certified addictions counselor

Responsibilities

• Maintaining caseload meeting the needs of the patients and following regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure completion of all required paperwork (e.g. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes) timely and accurately.
• Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.
• Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
• Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients; outpatient program includes SUD and co-occurring mental health care.
