Job summary

Candidates should have 1+ years of outpatient facility coding experience and familiarity with Meditech or 3M systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to interact with clinical and non-clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HIM or Coding, preferred; position may be equivalent to a 2- or 4-year degree in HIM or Coding.
• 1+ years outpatient facility coding or related experience.
• Familiarity with Meditech and 3M Coding and Reimbursement System, preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Pathophysiology, disease processes, Pharmacology and Medical Terminology.
