Qualifications

• Completion of AHIMA Accredited Record Technician course and/or college coursework in anatomy/physiology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns diagnoses and procedure codes for outpatient records for billing and statistics.
• Reviews unbilled accounts daily to support clean claim submission.
• Collaborates with Corporate Compliance and other departments to ensure coding reflects documentation and patient condition.
