Qualifications

• RHIT, RHIA or CCS credentialed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient visit types using chart documentation.
• Review medical records and documentation to ensure accurate diagnoses and procedures.
• Request physician queries to clarify documentation as needed.
• Maintain coding accuracy of at least 95% and meet productivity standards for each encounter type.
