Qualifications

• Must have training in medical coding principles and guidelines.
• Experience with outpatient coding and reimbursement processes preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS, and modifier usage in billing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results for accurate code assignment.
• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes and modifiers for billing and compliance.
• Code across departments including ED, SDS, ANC, ONC, Outpatient Rehab, Outpatient Psychiatric, and IVR.
