Wellstar Health System is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant to perform ambulatory care duties under licensed providers in an outpatient setting. You will obtain vitals, assist with exams and procedures, collect specimens, administer vaccines, and support front-office operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and multiple national certifications; 1 year of outpatient experience is preferred. A Georgia driver’s license is beneficial for mobile care options.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent required.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Minimum 1 year outpatient setting experience preferred in the specialty.

Mansioni

• Completion of Ambulatory Intake including interviewing patients for visit information and vitals.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures.
• Obtains labs (blood, urine, nasal swabs) and documents charges.
• Front office duties (registration, scheduling, payment collection, insurance authorization).
