Job summary

Strategis Consulting is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse (CMA/LPN) to provide direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient physician practice. You will work under supervision to support patient intake, procedures, medication activities, care coordination, and efficient clinic operations.

You will perform tasks within your credentialed scope, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure safety and quality in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires CMA certification or Georgia LPN licensure with current BLS.
• Outpatient physician-practice experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic health records and patient confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients by obtaining vital signs and histories for examinations.
• Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, specimens, and tests within credentialed scope.
• Administer medications and treatments as allowed by credential and policy.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and home care.
• Document care and communications in EHR and coordinate care with team.
• Coordinate appointments, prescriptions, and pre-certifications for services.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the clinic.
