Job summary

The role supports patient intake, clinical procedures, medications, education, documentation, care coordination, and efficient clinic operations. Under the credentialed scope, the CMA handles patient prep, vital signs, and triage; the LPN performs nursing tasks within supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required and CMA/LPN credentials as applicable.
• CMA candidates must have completed approved medical assistant education or training and meet certification requirements.
• LPN candidates must be graduates of an approved practical nursing program and eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake, vital signs, and histories to support provider workflow.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and on-site testing as credentialed.
• Administer medications and immunizations within the credentialed scope and supervision.
• Document care and communications in electronic health records and coordinate care.
