Job summary

Wabash Recovery in Kokomo, IN is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to deliver group and individual therapy, complete assessments, and coordinate case management as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires active state licensure in listed credentials, 2+ years of clinical experience, experience in the substance use disorder field, and proficiency with electronic health records and Google products; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and improve intensive groups, relapse prevention groups, and individual therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Assist with discharge planning and related patient needs including FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Sober Housing needs.
• Attend Treatment Team meetings as needed.
• Work cooperatively with all levels of staff and external agencies.
• Do additional duties as assigned.
• Report directly to the Clinical Director.

OUTPATIENT THERAPIST

Your Role The Outpatient Therapist will participate in a full continuum of care by facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, assessment, and case management, as well as, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Are responsible for a set of assigned patients
• Select appropriate treatment modalities and carry them out in individual sessions
• Assist with all discharge planning patient needs including FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Sober Housing needs
• Attend Treatment Team meetings as needed
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone, especially on the treatment teams
• Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies
• Do additional duties as assigned
