Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services in Boston, MA seeks an experienced Outpatient Clinic Director to provide administrative oversight of the clinic and to develop, direct, and implement its policies and procedures.

You will manage day-to-day clinical services, including outpatient psychiatry and therapy, ensuring services align with agency goals of helping individuals achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field.
• LICSW, LMHC, or other behavioral health licensure required.
• Minimum three years of experience with adults with mental health challenges.
• At least two years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of outpatient clinic operations and 3rd party regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high quality outpatient services including intake, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacology.
• Maintain a small client caseload and provide individual/group therapy as needed.
• Oversee scheduling, staff management, budgeting, and compliance with Bay Cove policies.
• Ensure hiring, credentialing, orientation and supervision meet agency/payor standards.
• Ensure timely clinical documentation and billing-related records.
