Job summary

Avera St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver bedside care and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team. The role requires nursing assessment, care planning, patient and family education, and ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license active in the state of practice
• Ability to work the specified hours (days)
• Experience in clinical nursing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the care plan with the health care team
• Develops nursing care plans based on patient histories and examinations
• Teaches patients and families about condition, medications, and self-care
• Evaluates patient care and modifies plans as needed
• Maintains safe and healthy patient care environment per policies and regulations
• Documents patient care services in charted records
• Maintains and troubleshoots patient care equipment and supplies
