Job summary

Avera is seeking a Registered Nurse at St Anthony's Hospital in Nebraska to deliver comprehensive patient care and support families in understanding conditions and medications.

You will develop nursing care plans, coordinate with physicians and the broader health care team, educate patients on self-care, and document care while adhering to infection control and safety standards. 8hr day shifts with call/weekend rotation; 72hrs/2wks.

Qualifications

• RN license active in state of practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Experience in clinical environment preferred (1–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care by reviewing prescriptions and informing the care plan to the health team.
• Develops care plans by assessing histories and documenting patient status.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates care and adjusts plans to meet standards and patient needs.
• Maintains a safe care environment and adheres to infection control policies.
• Documents care in patient records and coordinates with team.
