The Clinic Supervisor oversees 20–30 staff, hires and counsels non-provider personnel, and drives quality improvement to maintain safe patient care and efficient clinic workflows. Strong communication and budgeting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or its equivalency.
• Previous supervisory experience in a physician’s office outpatient clinic preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work with diverse people.
• Experience with computerized billing/registration systems.
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
• Ability to relate well to patients, families, co-workers and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 20–30 employees in clinic operations.
• Hire, evaluate, counsel and terminate non-provider personnel.
• Provide quality improvement monitoring and ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing and workload to meet patient flow.
• Manage budget and cost controls for the clinic.
• Ensure compliance with policies and survey readiness.
