Job summary

Newberry Health is seeking an Outpatient Clinic Nurse to join our 90-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Newberry County, SC. The role supports providers, manages daily clinic operations, and upholds nursing standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current South Carolina LPN license, and BLS. At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• At least one year of experience as a registered nurse working in a hospital or physician office setting is preferred.
• Current South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Clinic Nurse effectively manages the daily operations and resources for provider; organizes, directs, and administers nursing care utilizing the nursing process, protocols and standards of nursing practice.
• Acts as liaison between the practice, patient, provider, staff, and outside agencies.
