Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Chemotherapy Clinic. The RN will independently care for adult oncology patients, focusing on breast, GYN and neuroendocrine tumors, within a collaborative team.

Requirements include MD RN license (or eligibility), 1–2 years oncology experience, CPR certification, and OCN/ONS chemo credentials preferred or within 6–12 months of hire. Day shifts, 32 hours biweekly.

Qualifications

• Must have diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school; RN license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred or agreement to enroll within six months of employment.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in oncology is strongly preferred.
• CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred or to be certified within one year of hire.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, high-quality care to adult oncology patients in Outpatient Chemotherapy.
• Perform patient assessment and treatment as part of a dedicated team.
• Share expertise with team members and serve as a resource.
