Job summary

Mercy Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Chemotherapy Clinic (Overlea). The RN will deliver evidence-based care to adults with breast, GYN, and neuroendocrine tumors in a collaborative team setting.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in Maryland (or eligible), 1–2 years oncology experience, and preferably a BSN. Strong CPR, OCN and ONS certifications are valued. Join a mission-driven team in a trusted healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN strongly preferred or enroll within six months.
• Current Maryland RN license or ability to obtain MD license.
• 1–2 years oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred or certification within 1 year.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• RN in Outpatient Chemotherapy independently cares for adult patients with oncology focus (breast, GYN, neuroendocrine).
• Provides evidence-based, high-quality care including patient assessment and treatment; serves as a resource for team members.
