Mercy Medical Center in Maryland is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Chemotherapy Clinic. The role focuses on adult oncology care, including breast, GYN, and neuroendocrine tumors, and operates within a collaborative, evidence-based care model.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, administration of chemotherapy, and serving as a resource for the care team. Day shifts with 72 hours biweekly; Maryland RN license required or ability to obtain, with 1–2 years oncology experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (strongly preferred) or agreement to enroll within six months of employment.
• Maryland RN license required or ability to obtain.
• 1-2 years oncology nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification at healthcare provider level.
• Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred or to certify within 1 year.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult oncology patients in Outpatient Chemotherapy Clinic (breast, GYN, neuroendocrine tumors).
• Perform patient assessments and administer treatments per evidence-based protocols.
• Serve as a clinical resource for team members and collaborate with a dedicated oncology team.
