Mercy Medical Center in Maryland is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Chemotherapy Clinic (Overlea). The RN will provide independent, evidence-based care to adults with oncologic needs and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

Preferred candidates have a BSN, Maryland RN license, 1–2 years oncology experience, and certifications (CPR; OCN/ONS) within defined timeframes. This role supports Mercy’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in Maryland or be eligible for licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred or plan to enroll within 6 months.
• 1–2 years oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) preferred or plan to certify within 1 year.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent, evidence-based nursing care to adults in outpatient chemotherapy.
• Assess patients and administer treatments in oncology (breast, GYN, neuroendocrine).
• Collaborate with a dedicated team and serve as a resource to colleagues.
• Ensure high-quality care and patient safety during chemotherapy administration.
