Job summary

TriHealth seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in safe and accurate medication preparation and distribution. You will assist with dispensing under supervision, manage inventory, and ensure compliant documentation.

You will process prescriptions and insurance claims, maintain patient records, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding TriHealth policies and safety standards. The role emphasizes teamwork and continuous professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Up to 1 year experience in a related field; previous pharmacy technician experience is Required.
• 3-4 years Outpatient Pharmacy experience preferred.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required; certification through PTCB or ExCPT.
• Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision in compliance with regulations.
• Manage inventory and storage with proper handling and documentation.
• Process prescriptions and insurance claims with accurate patient records.
• Provide customer service and support patient care within the pharmacy team.
• Complete daily pharmacy tasks and support regulatory compliance.
