TriHealth is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in outpatient settings from Western Hills Pharmacy. The role emphasizes accurate dispensing, inventory control, and patient-facing service within a team-driven environment.

Requirements include a Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT), state registration where applicable, and up to 1 year of related experience. A strong customer service orientation and compliance with regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree, graduate of an approved technical, professional or vocational program (Preferred).
• Up to 1 year experience in a related field; previous pharmacy technician experience (Required).
• 3-4 years Outpatient Pharmacy experience (Preferred).
• Experience with outpatient pharmacy dispensing systems, electronic medical records (Preferred).
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is required.
• Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Drug Fulfillment: fill prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Inventory Management: manage stock, order from wholesaler, check expiries.
• Pharmacy Phone Calls: handle inbound/outbound calls with patients and providers.
• Customer Service/Compliance: maintain HIPAA compliance and high service standards.
• Working Conditions: physical requirements and environment described in posting.
