Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Up to 1 year Pharmacy experience is required.
• 1-2 years Pharmacy; experience with computer applications and pharmacy automation preferred.
• PCTB and ExCPT (CPhT) certifications required.
• Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems and label medications.
• Manage inventory, verify quantities, and handle controlled substances records.
• Follow safety protocols and HIPAA/EHR procedures in daily workflows.
• Communicate professionally with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
