First Coast Heart & Vascular in Palm Coast, FL seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a cardiovascular team in a primarily outpatient setting. The role combines clinic-based patient care with limited hospital responsibilities and shared call coverage.

You’ll work with general and interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists to diagnose and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, order tests, prescribe meds, and coordinate care while maintaining thorough

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program is required.
• Current national board certification is required.
• Active Florida license or eligibility before start date.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial consultations and follow-up appointments.
• Assess cardiovascular symptoms and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Create and adjust treatment plans in partnership with physicians.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within scope of practice.
• Explain conditions, options, and cardiovascular risk reduction to patients.
• Coordinate care with clinical staff, referring providers, and specialists.
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic medical records.
• Participate in shared hospital rounding and call coverage.
