The ideal candidate has a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies and at least 3 years in cardiology, along with ACLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cardiology setting.
• ACLS certification required; ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care under physician supervision.
• Conduct physical exams, obtain histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions (hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure).
• Adjust pacemaker settings and interpret ECGs.
• Supervise and interpret nuclear and treadmill stress tests.
• Provide post-procedural follow-up and anticoagulation management.
• Assist with or perform minor in-office procedures.
• Educate patients on prevention and healthy lifestyle.
