Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for outpatient cardiology care as part of the Cardiology team. The RN will perform assessments, assist with cardiac testing, educate patients, and coordinate follow-up in a collaborative environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, Nebraska RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. A minimum of one year of RN experience is preferred, with PSLF loan repayment information

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• At least one year of clinical RN experience preferred.
• Current Nebraska RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current; SRMC may require updating.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality outpatient cardiology nursing care with the cardiology team.
• Perform patient assessments and document in the EHR.
• Conduct cardiac testing and related procedures per order and protocol.
• Administer intravenous medications during cardiac testing per protocol.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, tests, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including billing and pre-authorizations.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and crash cart checks are up to date.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth scheduling and care continuity.
