Qualifications include accreditation in Respiratory Therapy, Nebraska license, and CRT or RRT credentials. New graduates welcome; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certs are expected with internal training if needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Prefer 1 year of clinical experience, but new graduates considered.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Nebraska.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certs; STABLE preferred; hire table requires training if not current.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy care and advanced life support.
• Assess and plan patient care using respiratory therapy protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and communicate with patients and families.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment (ventilators, high-flow systems).
• Participate in codes, trauma, OB teams when needed.
• Document charting, billing, and authorizations per hospital standards.
