Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska, is seeking an experienced Acute Care Registered Nurse for night shift. Join a small, caring team across Med-Surg, ICU, Labor & Delivery, and ER to provide high-quality patient care.

You will assess and plan individualized care, administer treatments, coordinate with physicians, and participate in performance improvement activities. Eligible for loan forgiveness programs; generous PTO and education reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Nebraska RN license or eligibility to practice in Nebraska.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed nursing care and plan individualized patient care.
• Assess patient health status and document findings.
• Administer IV fluids and medications; start peripheral and central lines as needed.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient status and care plan.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Supervise other health team members and ensure patient safety.
