Job summary

Covenant Medical Group in Knoxville is seeking a Medical Assistant who is also licensed as a Practical Nurse to join the outpatient care team. This full-time role—72 hours per pay period, day shift—puts you in a collaborative clinic environment under the supervision of providers and the office manager.

You will perform clinical tasks, take vital signs, assist with exams, administer medications, manage records, and support patient education while maintaining confidentiality and quality standards

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN in Tennessee.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and vital signs; weigh patients.
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures (phlebotomy, injections, suturing).
• Administer medications per provider order and policy.
• Train and orient assigned personnel as applicable.
• Document interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
