Job summary

Covenant Medical Group, part of Covenant Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse for the Oliver Springs Family Physician clinic. The role supports outpatient care, assists with examinations, phlebotomy, injections, and basic procedures under supervision, with emphasis on accurate documentation and patient education.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, coordinating appointments, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• License to practice as an LPN in Tennessee.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ general condition and record vitals.
• Assist provider with examinations, phlebotomy, injections, suturing, and other office procedures.
• Administer medications per provider orders and document accurately.
• Educate patients and families about wellness and care plans.
• Triages patient calls and coordinates appointments as needed.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
