Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains established departmental policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Performs basic nursing procedures including vital signs and ambulatory intake.
• Interviews and collects initial patient information, inputs into EMR, and reports to practitioner.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures related to patient care.
• Ensures adequate stock of supplies and equipment.
• Records correctly in patient medical records and handles chart requests.
• Inspects area for policy and regulatory compliance; takes corrective action as needed.
• Cleans and restocks examination rooms; transports instruments to processing as needed.
• Supports provider scheduling, note prep, and prescription refill management.
• Performs reception duties with professional scripting and real-time scheduling.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care and pursues ongoing professional development.
