Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP/ABHES or similar) or completion of a Nursing Assistant program is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire is required.
• ACLS as needed by the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or RN in accordance with guidelines and standards.
• Duty assignments include front office and back office functions.
