Job summary

MedStar Health in Maryland is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Breast Surgery team. You will work with our breast surgeons and a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality care to patients with breast cancer and breast disease, including high-risk individuals, in the outpatient setting.

The role involves early diagnostic care, pre-op education, post-op follow-up, and in-office procedures such as aspirations and I&D, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 am–4:30 pm

Qualifications

• Completion and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• CPR certification is required.
• Eligible for Maryland and DC licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in Breast Surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeon and multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Perform in-office procedures such as aspirations and I&D.
• Provide pre-op education and long-term follow-up for high-risk patients.
