Valley Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Therapist I for Outpatient Behavioral Health in Winchester, VA. The role focuses on individual, group, and family therapy with a goal-directed treatment approach.

The position requires a Master’s in Social Work or Counseling and Virginia licensure within six months of supervised hours, plus BLS certification. A range of benefits accompanies the role at Valley Health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
• Virginia licensure must be obtained within six months of completing required hours.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required prior to orientation.
• Experience with behavioral health populations is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy with a focus on goal-directed treatment.
• Initiate discharge planning and complete required documentation by midnight on service day.
• Maintain daily availability for crisis and routine support; manage caseload and care coordination.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment planning and prepare evidence-based interventions.
• Obtain insurance authorizations, perform chart audits, and complete school/work forms as needed.
• Maintain training requirements and participate in supervision and meetings.
