Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago seeks a Part-Time Outpatient Behavioral Health clinician to provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling to patients and families, coordinating psychosocial assessments and treatment planning as part of an interdisciplinary team.

This role offers a daytime shift, 10:30 am–7:00 pm, no weekends, with comprehensive benefits and a bilingual Spanish preference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related required.
• Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or related field, preferred.
• Current registration an intern with Board, as appropriate to education and licensing requirements.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems related to treatment, illness, disability or trauma.
• Provide case management & milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate discharge planning. Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical records for each client during their length of stay.

Bachelor’s degree Social Work/Marriage and Family Therapy/related

Master’s in Psychology/Social Work/Marriage and Family Therapy/LPCC preferred

Current registration as intern with Board; BLS on hire

Minimum 1 year inpatient or outpatient Behavioral Health experience preferred
