Job summary

Care Plus NJ, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Manager for the Bloomfield location.

This on-site role leads clinical operations for outpatient behavioral health services, providing supervision and ensuring regulatory compliance, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities include supervising therapists, coordinating care with providers, overseeing intake and treatment planning, monitoring outcomes, and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field as required by program regulations & standards.
• Must possess a current professional license (LCSW/LPC) as required by program regulations & standards.
• At least 2 years of experience with program management, administrative and supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to therapists, case managers, care coordinators, and other behavioral health staff.
• Review clinical documentation, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes for quality and accuracy.
• Support staff performance, professional development, and ongoing training in evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers, including primary care, substance use treatment programs, hospitals, and community partners.
• Oversee client intake, assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge processes.
• Analyze program outcomes and quality metrics; implement corrective action plans and performance improvement initiatives as needed
• Counsel and support staff with program and client-related issues, fostering a collaborative work environment, ensuring a culture of recovery, resilience, and trauma-informed care.
• Assist with program development, staffing plans, budgeting, and operational goals.
• Facilitate weekly treatment team meetings and participate in leadership meetings, audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Recruit, hire, and train, clinical and program staff, as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and professional conduct guidelines.
