Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Outpatient Mental Health – Evelyn Brandon Health Center seeks a Behavioral Health Supervisor. The role combines patient assessment, supervision, program goals, and psychotherapy within the Therapy department.

You will lead groups, ensure timely documentation, recruit and develop staff, and participate in quality improvement. Requires a Master’s in Social Work or Counseling and 3–10 years of Behavioral Health experience; NY OMH or OASAS qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling (Behavioral Health) required or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 3-10 years Behavioral Health experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory duties in relation to staff, including sign off on time cards and scheduling of staff hours.
• Assist in development, implementation, and monitoring of annual program goals, objectives, and budget.
• Recruit and hire staff.
• Assume day-to-day program operation and schedule.
• Provide psychotherapy and clinical services appropriate to patient needs.
• Lead or co-lead psychotherapy groups.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Maintain a partial caseload and minimize no-shows and cancellations.
• Participate in QI and Utilization review processes.
