Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Full Time Program Coordinator for Outpatient Mental Health at Evelyn Brandon Health Center. The role combines clinical leadership with operational oversight, requiring collaboration with Behavioral Health - Therapy and program staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

The candidate will provide supervision, develop clinical programs, and oversee assessments and treatment planning while maintaining compliance with state regulations and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Health Science, Psychology, Social Work or related Human Service field; Master’s preferred.
• Two years administrative/coordinator program experience.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated project and people management ability.
• Two years experience providing mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with referral sources, collateral contacts, and quality monitoring committees as needed and in a timely manner.
• Monitors compliance with Department and State regulations and standards for patient care and documentation; assists in implementing program goals and patient care initiatives.
• Supports and monitors utilization of the electronic documentation system; completes required documentation timely and comprehensively.
• Provides leadership and day-to-day direction for the clinical team or program staff.
• Develops clinical programs in collaboration with program leadership and evaluates success.
• Conducts initial and ongoing assessments; works with patients to develop measurable treatment goals and aftercare objectives for discharge planning.
• Provides individual and group therapy, and monitors patient response to medications in collaboration with the staff psychiatrist.
• Manages designated caseload and aims for low no-show rates; guides team accordingly.
• Ensures efficient processes for patient referrals, admissions, treatment, and discharges.
• Assists in interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff and staff development initiatives.
