Advocate Health seeks an LPN for outpatient behavioral health in Winston-Salem, Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This role requires an active LPN license and BLS certification within 45 days unless exempted by leadership.

Responsibilities include patient prep, lab procedures, and assisting physicians with various exams and procedures. Department emphasizes high-quality care, team collaboration, and adherence to safety protocols.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN license in the state of practice; BLS certification required within 45 days unless exempted by leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patient for exams by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physician with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications under orders, including immunizations and insulin.
• Initiate, maintain, or discontinue IV therapy within allowed limits.
• Document patient conditions and communicate with the health care team.
