Advocate Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Family Medicine team at the Downtown Health Plaza in Winston-Salem. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Licensure in the state is required along with BLS certification within 45 days if applicable.

Experience is not required. Responsibilities include patient prep, lab procedures, assisting physicians, administering medications, IV therapy within scope, and patient education.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days if required by department

Aufgaben

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, records vital signs and health information.
• Performs basic and some advanced clinical procedures and specimen collection.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administers medications per orders and manages IV therapy within scope.
• Provides patient education and coordinates referrals and tests.
• Maintains exam rooms, labs and equipment; supports care team.
