Job summary

Piedmont Community Services seeks an outpatient and assessment therapist to provide individual therapy, group therapy, and Comprehensive Needs Assessments in Virginia.

Applicants must be license eligible or licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). They will receive weekly supervision toward licensure and gain experience with diverse clients across the lifespan, including those with SMI, SED, or substance use disorders.

Job description

We are seeking an outpatient and assessment therapist to provide individual therapy, group therapy, and Comprehensive Needs Assessments. This is a multi-faceted position that requires licensure eligibility or licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Virginia. License eligible candidates must register with their respective state board and will receive weekly clinical supervision towards obtaining licensure. This position is a great clinical skill builder for recent graduates of accredited graduate schools for counseling or social work. Ideal candidates will have some experience working with individuals across the life span who are diagnosed with mental illness (SMI, SED, At-risk) and/or substance use disorders. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it relates to the position.
