Job summary

Piedmont Community Services seeks an outpatient and assessment therapist to provide individual therapy, group therapy, and Comprehensive Needs Assessments in Virginia.

Applicants must be license eligible or licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). They will receive weekly supervision toward licensure and gain experience with diverse clients across the lifespan, including those with SMI, SED, or substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Must be license eligible or licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Background checks including barrier crimes and drug screening required.
• Weekly clinical supervision toward licensure for eligible candidates.
• Great clinical skill builder for recent graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to clients across the lifespan.
• Offer group therapy as part of the treatment plan.
• Conduct Comprehensive Needs Assessments.
• Coordinate with care teams and document progress.
• Address SMI/SED and substance use concerns.
