AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to oversee therapy staff and deliver evidence-based patient care. The role requires a Master’s in Speech/Language Pathology and SLP licensure, with day shifts and full-time hours in a faith-based health system.

Responsibilities include supervising therapy aides, coordinating care, documenting progress, and ensuring safety and quality in every session. Florida licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Ability to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee therapy aides and ensure care aligns with regulations and standards.
• Maintain productivity with effective time management and adjust hours as needed.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans and discharge patients when appropriate.
• Document accurately using CPT codes and insurance guidelines.
• Educate patients and caregivers and contribute to practice improvement initiatives.
