Job summary

Riveon Mental Health and Recovery is seeking compassionate Addiction Counselors to provide office-based behavioral health services to adults, adolescents, and children. The role focuses on screening, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and case management within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications include an Ohio LCDCII license, an Associate Degree in Addictions, and at least three years of treatment or recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board’s Code of Ethics and have 3 years of treatment or recovery experience.
• If in recovery, must have at least 1 year of continuous sobriety.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside in Ohio and possess a valid clinical license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical services to a caseload via individual, group, and family counseling.
• Provide assessment, treatment planning, referral, and documentation according to standards.
• Coordinate with referral sources and participate in CQI and Utilization/Peer Review programs.
• Assist in discharge planning and family involvement in treatment.
